When to serve it
After dinner, beside the coffee. On a tray with small cups for guests who do not want a full dessert. Or on a quiet afternoon, with a book.
Serve the spoon on a saucer beside a cup of coffee, and eat it slowly, so the cacao has time to open before the raspberry arrives.
Make it a plate
- With strong black coffee.
- Over vanilla ice cream.
- Stirred into warm milk.
- On pancakes, with a few fresh raspberries.
- Next to a small bowl of fresh raspberries.
- Beside a slice of plain cake.
What you taste
Cacao first, then the tart edge of raspberry, with honey underneath. It is a dessert flavour, so it works best with plain partners: dairy, coffee and vanilla.
Questions
Is it the same as the jar?
It has the same flavours in single servings. The cacao dessert in a jar is the larger version.
Where does the honey come from?
From Lithuania. The cacao and the raspberries are blended into it.
Can I stir it into coffee?
Yes. It will sweeten the cup and add cacao and raspberry notes. Stir well, and taste before adding more.
Is it only for dessert?
It is made for dessert, but a spoonful over plain yoghurt or warm porridge works at breakfast too.
Keeping it
Protect from direct sunlight. After opening, store in a cool and dry place.
