How to taste them
- Brew one pot of black tea and try a different spoon in each cup.
- Eat one spoon straight, then another with a plain cracker.
- Stir a spoon into plain yoghurt, and compare the three bowls side by side.
- Start with the lightest spoon and finish with the richest, so the strongest flavour does not hide the others.
For a table of guests
Put the spoons out beside the tea tray and let everyone choose their own. A mix makes a good conversation, because people rarely agree on a favourite.
What to drink with them
Plain black tea is the neutral partner: it carries every flavour without competing. Cold water between spoons clears the palate, and a plain cracker helps you notice what each flavour is doing.
Questions
Where can I read about the single flavours?
Each has its own page: beetroot, mint and lemon and cacao and raspberry.
Is the mix a good way to start?
It is built for exactly that: try several, then choose.
Can I mix two flavours in one cup?
Of course, if you like the idea. Try one spoon in a cup of tea first, and add a second only if you want a stronger flavour.
Where the honey comes from
The honey in the spoons comes from Lithuania.
